Chapter 5 Constitution Project

This is it folks!! You have learned about the United States Constitution many times throughout your academic career. I know that many of you learned this document inside out and backwards just last year in Government & Economics!! Now is the time to demonstrate that knowledge!!


This is your Constitution Project!!

Rule #1: You must submit your project for my approval prior to beginning your work
Rule #2: If you have an idea that does not appear on my list, present it to me ASAP
Rule #3: All projects should CLEARLY and UNMISTAKABLY demonstrate the time and effort
put into the project
Rule #4: All projects should CLEARLY and UNMISTAKABLY demonstrate your knowledge of
the United States Constitution
Rule #5: Homework Passes and No Assignment Forms WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!! Late
projects will not be accepted. If you plan to be absent or become ill on the due date, you
may have your project dropped off at the office or make arrangements with me so that I
might stop by your house to pick up your project.
Rule #6: Each student or pair of students should be prepared to present your project and clearly
explain its significance to the class in a presentation that is no less than 5 minutes in
length. Students may demonstrate the project or utilize Power Point, the WWW and /
or the Polyvision board in order to present to the class. A POWERPOINT ALONE WILL NOT BE YOUR PROJECT IF YOU ARE IN PERIOD 1 !!
Rule #7: There must be a visual and / or tangible component but NO POSTERS WILL BE
ACCEPTED!!
Rule #8: At least one element of "technology" should be present in your final project
Rule #9: Each student or group will include a written summary of the process followed in
completing the project AND of student learning regarding the US Constitution.
Rule #10: BE CREATIVE & BE ENGAGED!!


DUE DATE: NOVEMBER 26th

IN CLASS WORK DAYS: NOVEMBER 19th , November 20th, & November 21st
Friday, November 21 will be in the Dell Lab for Period 1 and the Mac Lab for period 4/5. You will be expected to remain on -task the entire time you are in the Media Center on Friday. If the class is a disruption, the class will loose project work time and be instructed to complete an alternative assignment that will not be fun!! :.)

BRING WHAT YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR PROJECTS TO CLASS ON THE ABOVE DATES. COW OR THE MEDIA CENTER WILL BE AVAILABLE. IF ALL STUDENTS ARE NOT BEING PRODUCTIVE IN THE CLASSROOM, THE ENTIRE CLASS WILL LOOSE IN -CLASS WORK TIME.

There were too many problems with the original idea of making a video from video games, so I'm going to work by myself and write a song dealing with the amendments, then make a video of myself performing the song.

Our original project was too complicated and didn't turn out right, so we are now going to make a game up using a powerpoint, and a stand up game board.
